Brett Kirkpatrick - President
This is my second year as president and my 10th year of volunteering on the board of directors. I am proud to be part of a society that gives back so much to the community. It’s important to me that Funtastic is known for more than just a great ball tournament and music festival. We put thousands of dollars into the local sports programs and community groups throughout the year and for me, the greatest reward is the lives we impact.Outside of Funtastic, I am a Family Law & Personal Injury lawyer and partner at Davidson Lawyers LLP. |

Darcy Sochan – 3rd Vice-President
I was raised in Vernon and briefly moved up north to Fort Nelson for 5 yrs. I credit my move back to the Okanagan to the Funtastic Tournament. I was involved with bringing our Ft. Nelson slow-pitch team to participate in the Funtastic fun in 1991. It was then that I realized what I took for granted with all the Vernon area had to offer. So with my wife Cheryl, we made plans to move by the following year. I had organized a team for the next 16 years of Funtastic, with several friends coming from outside area. In 2008, I decided it was time to change from participant to volunteer. I joined the Funtastic Executive Team taking on the responsibilities of equipment, scheduling, and fields. Outside of Funtastic, I am a realtor with Century 21 Executives. |

Tim Reardon – Music Director
Tim Reardon brings his experience in the music industry to the board and manages the A&W Funtastic Music Festival. Playing music professionally for more than 28 years and a 21 year member of the popular band “The Young’uns”, Tim is the natural choice for music director. He has been involved with the Funtastic for many years and has seen it change from its humble beginnings to the present day.
His hand on the pulse of the local and Canadian music scene enables him to get the job done; from booking the headliners andlocal acts, to the sound, stage and lighting. Tim’s committed to the Funtastic’s success and as a musician and business owner (Tutor Tech Computers), knows that the key to running a successful music festival is keeping balance between the talent and the budget. |

Roel van de Crommenacker– Director
I became involved with Funtastic as a volunteer in 2010. As an immigrant with my family from The Netherlands in 2008, it was a exciting experience to be part of this organization and to help building a better community.
Being a Director is for me the best opportunity to serve this Funtastic festival! Outside of Funtastic, I love to be in the outdoors and work as a Sales Consultant for EuroLine Windows Inc. |
