2012 Funtastic Community Grant is now online…
The Funtastic Community Grant is committed to ensuring that sport and recreation makes a positive contribution to our society, for all citizens and to the physical and social development of our youth.
As part of our stewardship of financial contributions, Vernon and District Funtastic Sports Society has a thorough process in place to ensure the best investment of Funtastic Community Grant funds. An experienced committee of volunteers make funding decisions based on specific community priorities, specific funding criteria, the population served and community knowledge.
This year the Funtastic board of directors have committed $25,000 to be awarded in the 2012 Funtastic Community Grant program. In the future, the number of funded programs could increase as determined by the amount of dollars raised in the community at the annual Funtastic Summer Festival.
Please review the FUNTASTIC Community Grant review criteria to ensure your project/request fits within the framework of the criteria and has the best opportunity for success. Applications must be submitted using the 2012 Funtastic Community Grant application for funding via email, fax or mail.
Submissions of applications will be received from January 1, 2012 through February 15, 2012.
Final reviews from the Funtastic Grant Advisory Committee will be made in March 2012 and applications will be considered as funds permit. Grants will be awarded in April 2012.

Attention Vendors. The Funtastic Slo-Pitch & Music Festival application for vendors is closed for 2011. Funtastic has a limited number of vendor vacancies each year. Many of our vendors return year after year causing us to have a very low turnover rate. Please contact the office if you would like more information or questions answered on how you can become a vendor.
